I read GaroweOnline, Shabelle, HiraanOnline and LaasQoray, they are all good news sites, with clear demarcation between actual news and opinion pieces.

AllPuntland seems to be the TFG/Puntland's mouthpiece, and I usually read it to find out what the government is pushing as the "official line".

Somaliland Times is better than AllPuntland, but they have the same problem. When Warsangeli border patrol clashed with Majerteen charcoal traders from Nugal, Somaliland Times claimed "Somaliland Forces" had repelled a "Attack from Puntland". And people say Puntland spins stuff...

it hurts your credibility man .

how was Somaliland Times wrong in saying JSL forces repelled attack ?
are you saying Hargeisa never had warsangeli footsoldiers in Badhan ?

then you should read your intro story again ...

It wasn't even an attack, that's the thing, and the men were from Puntland yes, but they weren't military. It was a group of charcoal traders and their Oromo employees who clashed with Warsangeli CLAN militia. The charcoal traders surrendered to the militia who put them in prison in Dhahar.

This was reported in Somaliland Times as an epic border clash between JSL forces and Puntland forces, who were of course trying to invade Sanaag.

I get your point there .

so what you think gonna happen between Somaliland and Puntland now ?
you know Tuqaraq the last stand of Puntland falled today with exception Garowe ...

----------------

but you still need to fix up the map
Maakhir has way too long coast
Karin Turwaa is by the way a famous sub lineage of Habr Yunis in Sanaag Muse Ismail subclan

Midhisho is more than what you give it of land .

I am thinking more about making Jiidale a border town, rather than fully Maakhir town.
As for the coast, what do you mean? Karin Tuurwa is WELL inside Somaliland on that map.
Maakhir State, my second home. up

Home to the Royal, noble Warsengeli. Cool
Thanks Lug-Ganane. We will welcome you to Maakhir when this adminstration is fully accepted by the Puntland-led Government. Or else, we pin our hope on a future Somali government to come forward and approve its legitimacy.

When will the Juballand state be declared?

Somaliland is on a bit of a dangerous course right now if you want my opinion. Long-term, the only way Somaliland can "close" their border is to prop up a Dulbahante buffer state between them and Garowe, and foster friendly relations with Maakhir instead of all this sabre rattling.

Dreams of invading Bosaso and Galcayo and Garowe sets Somaliland on a dangerous path, the same dangerous path the TFG now falters on.

dreams and TFG

wow that was one weak analysis

first of all Somaliland ain't borowing mucles from anyone unlike weak TFG
second of all Somaliland is now at Gambadhe 5 km away from Boocaame dhulbahante shir Laughing

deep deep east very very close to Garowe
---------------------------

regime change in Garowe is most likely to happen
and then new order in North

That's not what I was referring to. The TFG had peace and stability in Bay, where they were at least somewhat welcome there. Now they are stuck in cities where they are unwelcome and hemmorage troops and money and resources, and are actually worse off than if they'd just stayed in Bay.

Somaliland is in danger of being drawn into the same situation.

Imagine Somaliland involved in mini-Mogadishus in Bosaso and Galcayo and Garowe, with endless money and weapons and young men drawn into three meat-grinders sapping the strength and resolve of Somaliland. It's simply a bad idea.

clearly you dont know Ishaaqs
what makes you think we will envovle in " peace keeping " in Garowe
listen James Dahl we dont got the money to spoil
we are poor .

people will become refugees .
but the ultimate goal is to destroy Puntlands military and state once in for all
And then when the cities are completely fukked
Adde Muse & goverment will be thrown in Mandhera prison

adn we will leave the place and keep it fukked up.

too much coastline on Maakhirs side
its an error

What's so wrong about just living together as good neighbors?
Why not concentrate on improving the quality of life? Expand the highway to Zeila and Ceerigaabo, build hospitals and universities, drill for oil.

Blowing the fuck out of Puntland should be very low on your priorities.
