What phone you rockin?

I use to have the nokia N70 and have always been an avid nokia fan. But my upgrade was due and decided to get the new LG Viewty. This phone is amazing, 5 meg camera, touch screen, expandable memory and you can upload your videos to youtube with a click of a button. All i paid was 10 quid , but had to commit to the contract for another year.

Well in USA, its control by two or three big companies and those companies will buy out or force out of the market anything different that is a threat to their market. Plus USA doesn't allow foriegn technology or products used in America. while most ppl in Africa are enjoying new and different cellphones from China, Japan, Germany, UK, we are just slaves for Motorola and Virgin mobile or AT&T.

Also in USA, people value functionality of the phone then the beauty or size of the phone. here, ppl like cellphones that they can use for emails, text message, camera, calculator, memory to store stuff (like blackberry or Iphone). while in Africa and Europe all they want is a small phone to talk all day everyday.

Cellphones popular in USA; this phones are very advanced compared to shyt you posted.

Blackberry is for business and work -its advanced.

My cell doesn't even work. I am looking for a free phone and my contract does not even expire anytime soon. I guess I will have to buy one soon. Probably a Sony Ericsson Walkman or something similar with an mp3 player.

yo kramer, what you posted are smartphones and are more used for business and work purposes. As for the ipone, be sure nokia will make a better phone in the next couple of months.

I been to the states twice and the phones were appalling, hand sets we had years back. As for the LG i just purchased, i usually dont but LG phones, but the 3inch touch screen changed my mind.


The moto v8 is wack, you could probably get that for 30 quid brand new.

V8 is wack? don't mistake Motorola V8 with Motorala V3 which most ppl use. V8 is a new one, with more memory, more camera pixel, and more advanced then the V3.

I'll be honest the v8 at most is mediocre, just goes to prove that europe is much more advanced in the phone market.

As you can see saxib, the v8 is going for 120 on ebay, where as the viewty is going for double that.

Personally i dislike motorola phones, there features are usually poor.
