FACEBOOK DILEMMA: SOMEONE with my Name & SOB Looks Similar t

My friend decides to add me to her Facebook when she finds a profile of this dude who has the same name as me (down to the Middle Initial). The guy also lives in a city I used to live and we look similar except that he is a little darker than me and about 15lbs heavier.

So I am stuck in this dilemma: should I set up a profile on FaceBook to prevent people who are searching for me from going with this Cyber Imposter or to remain outside the FaceBook community ?

I am not comfortable having an online profile after my experience with Hi5 when i got into a sticky situation after these two chicks I had chilled with started beefing over some B.S.
