Has Somaliland really secured all of its borders?

Postby Somafiia » Wed Nov 21, 2007 12:04 am

I see sool is under control and currently under Somalilands administration, But what about other areas of sanaag region?.

Question now being what is Hargeisa papered to do about maakir now that Las anood is stable and under the administration.

I have to say Somaliland in the past couple of months did really show to its rivals the man power that there and what its capable of doing and how far the government is willing to go to secure the borders of 1960?. The borders of british somaliland..the britsh are gone why go by these borders??? Possible war over white man's idea of a nation. Fighting for what? what the british said were boundaries so they must be right Laughing WRONG!. I think Somaliland should just leaving people whom do not wish to join thier state and let them be regardless of clan.

HAS AFRICA LEARNED ANYTHING FROM COLONIALISM?

Somaliland controls all the 6 political capitals of Somaliland regions Borama, Berbera, Burco, Lascaanood, Erigavo, Hargeisa. Small little villages in Eastern Sanaag don't count much.

What Somaliland did was pure genius, taking over an entire region without a major fight, this never heard of in Somalia or Africa, usually many people die in such attempts to capture a a city. We did it in a smooth fashion while still flexing our muscles, keep in mind this is not but a fraction of the JSL Army in Sool.

Maakhir is not a threat to Somaliland, the president of Makhir is a loyal Somalilander, the entire Makhir cabinet is made up of former or current politicians who served or still serve in Somaliland, this is more of locals administerating their villages, however, if they get out of line their is a large division of the JSL Army stationed in my hometown of Ceerigaabo, I'am sure it will never come to that Cool
