Quick question to the supporters of the war in Muqdisho. What achievement has come out of this? How can one take pride in whats going in Muqdisho as victory, as if anything was gained other then Somalia being labeled as the #1 humanitarian crisis in Africa surpassing DARFUR? When I watched "Darfur Now" I was so appalled and sadden by whats going on there so how can we really just watch whats going on in our own country and look at it as a loss of one clan and victory of another. I do not support any entity, and I am far from supporting maxkamad/asmara camp/shabab and what not, my point is not a political one I am just thinking of those helpless masaakiin mothers, kids, grandparents, the sick, the crippled, and psychological affected humans and if any of you do not feel remorse just think of your loved ones in those situations.
________________________________________________________________________
am just thinking of those people kute!
get that fock out of here with your crocodile 'masaakiin tears'.
if you dont suport the insurgent then you are a dabadhilif or with the dabadhilif. but then again, since your late uncl "Big-goB' Afweeyn gave his blessing to the south-african merceneries to shell Hargeysa like there is no tomorow; now your second uncl is taking the game to the second levell and selling the whole country with its people to Amhaars.

There's no need to demonize Daarood biko. Our division feeds the status quo.

am not demonizing darood, cos darood alone cant take the blame for whats going in somalia. if anything hawiyee is responsible for half of the problem.

Somaliweyn both sides walaal, they are both doing the fighting in Muqdisho and fighting in residential areas, the hawiye resistence/al-shabaab and Ethiopia/TFG are. They need to fight elsewhere.
Biko, do you want a cookie?

SadeBoi,
Both are inconsiderate to the civilians with the Ethiopians/TFG being more atrocious.
That being said the civilians are the true victims.

AW,
There is no both....it is Ethiopians that are occupying the place. Before they came, there was no widespread outflow of Mogadishu, the bakaara market was functioning, people could walk freely. After they came into the neighbourhoods of Mogadishu, they distrubted the life of the people...and this is when the resistance became fierce, and the Ethiopians resorted to carpet bombing.
You cannot expect somone to come into your house, and dictate you around. You have the right to kick him out of the door.
Luq, it is not about fighting in the city. Remember ONLF are fighting in the bushes, but still the ethiopians carpet bomb towns and villages, and massacre civilians.
Why are they doing this? ONLF is in the bush, go to the bush and fight them there....so as you can see this is a concerted campaign of the Ethiopians to intimidate the brave patriotic Somali masses whether they are in Ogaden region or Mogadishu.

Even when it means 1000s of more deaths and 100.000s more displaced people? Where's the logic? Some people have lost their moral compass.
smh
Why Not.
18 year is enough don't you think?
It's time to take care of the problem the Somali Problem is Mogadishu!!!

Neither side cares about civilian casualties. These "mujaahideen" are the same mooryaans that were manning checkpoints for the last 17 years and have no value for human life and the TPLF don't really care about loss of life. Why should they when they have nothing in common with Somalis?

Somalian Boqor,
Are you prepared to deal with the consequences once the Ethiopians withdraw ?
SomaliWeyn,
Why do the Muqawama lay roadside mines next to Qaxooti camps at Ceelasha Afgoye which then leads to more people getting displaced ?

Abdiwahab agreed.
Somaliweyn, lets be realistic, the Muqdisho first started with the al-shabab part of the ICu attacking the TFG/Ethiopia in Muqdisho and the attacks were mostly coming from the habergider side of town (where most of the people have fled from or been killed in), after the TFG/Ethiopians started attacking those places did the Habergiders get involved and started their resistance which caused Ethiopians to even target them more and thats when all these big casualties happened. In the idaale and daynuuney wars civilians did not die because the sides fought in the outskirts and not in a city. So they both contribute to this.
