WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS

Postby gobdoon » Thu Nov 22, 2007 8:34 am

Now a new primeminster is choosen he must bring something new on the table for the remaining 2 years of the interim government and he must start building bridges and working on recociliation,he must also talk to all the oppositions of the government, must do something about the displaced people of Mogadishou,it's quite obvious majority of those people are against the government,so he must ask himself why is that and must addres their problems and their grievincies,it's no good like wE Somalis habit of saying any one who is rebel is kacandiid so force must be used or because such and such people don't belong my qabiil therefore they must be mistreated,if we need to go forward we need to go beyond that, after all a good government is a one representing all of it's citizens whether they are against it or not.

He only needs to tell the Ethiopians to leave and introduce sharia law.
After that they can be president and prime minister for life for all I care.

"He only needs to tell the Ethiopians to leave and introduce sharia law."

What's the big deal with Shari'a law?? And who on God's green earth would want to live under that sort of primative barbarism? It's no longer the 7th century. None of my friends are interested in living under Shari'a law. Move to Saudi Arabia if you want that crap.

In the aftermath of that rape verdict even the Saudis are now talking about reforming the judicial system. Not that it needs it, of course! Laughing
