The resistance is getting more sophisticated.

The occupation is pinned down in Mogadishu...with more than 30K Ethiopians in the city fighting the ghosts of resistance.

Hiiraan is getting ready, especially the triangle of Ceel Gaal, Jawiil all the way to Guriceel...this is the strategic conjucture of the road splitting into two parts..one heading towards Ethiopia-Feerfeer, the other heading towards the north, i.e Galgaduud, Mudug etc.

Another group is getting ready near Wanlaweyn, Burhakaba etc...this is the road leading to Mogadishu...and linking it with Baidoa.

The third group is getting ready in Jubba regions, to cut off the Ethiopians from entering South Somalia through Luq-Baardheere road.

Give the resistance some time, probably a few years...and you will see that Ethiopians will be locked inside Mogadishu while constantly harrased by rural guerrilla's in Hiiraan, Central regions, Bay/Bakol, Shabelle regions and Jubba regions.

they don't have a "few years", I believe we haven't had a country for 18 years now...

millions more will starve and perish just like those people in Xamar (esp. Bantus) if fighting rolls into the major towns.... the xabash will shell people left and right.....unless things stay in the bush and hopefully the ambushes continue on the major roads leading to and from Xamar

we also have to remember part of their excuse for staying is because of their presence. What I mean by that is, they have an excuse to stay as long as violence continues

Ethiopians aren't leaving until they are shown out. The only way they will leave is when they suffer enough caualties. If not we will always be a proxy state for Ethiopia.

Yep I knew it all along that nothing gets done overnight. Some gotten impatient with the resistant and said they were defeated.

But hardly no occupied country is freed in less than a year, I don't it ever happenened. The Ethiopians are already spreading thin...today they are fighting in matabaan....tommorow they have to go back to their base in beledweyne and wait till the resistance shows up again in matabaan....or they have to establish a base in matabaan-guriceel too.

We will see whether they can operate in Gobolade dhexe, hiiraan, jubboyinka, banadir, bay/bakool etc etc.

Be advised that as the resistance continues to use the civilian population to hide behind, that population will continue to take the brunt of responses. If the Ethiopians can't find the perpetrators of a given act of violence, they will simply kill Hawiye at random. So will the Majertain. This is the African way. So as bad as things have been, they are likely to get worse before they get better.
