An Ayah a day keeps ignorance away

Inshallah we should use this thread to post an Ayah a day, just as little reminder. I'll try to post a new ayah from the quran everyday, but you guys are more than welcome to post.

O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.


Surah At-Tahrim (Banning), Ayah 6

4. And when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. They are as blocks of wood propped up. They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies, so beware of them. May Allâh curse them! How are they denying (or deviating from) the Right Path.

If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.

This is mashallah. Beautiful recitation, I listen to it when I am down and things are getting on top of me, it really helps..I just keep repeating it. It makes me emotional and sorts me out MashaAllah. Perhaps its the repitativeness.. And the Shiekh is great and it.

"Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?" ..

Jzk for the great posts brothers and sisters.... Surat Rahman is my favourite surah, recited by my favourite sheikh sudasi manshallah. The Ayahs of the quran are like therpy walhamdulilah.


That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden.

Surah Al-Haqqa (The reality), Ayah 18

Do not annoy the servants of Allah, nor abuse them, nor seek their hidden shortcomings. Whoever seeks out the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults and degrade him, even if he is hiding in his house.)

And obey Allaah and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allaah is with those who are As-Sabirin . [Surah Al-Anfal Verse 46 ]

"O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful" (33.59).

"And remember the favor of Allah on you and His covenant with which He bound you firmly, when you said: We have heard and we obey, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah knows what is in the breasts."

And if you could be see when the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): 'Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation beacuse of what you used to utter against Allaah other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!'
