Somali president Condition Very Critical is Hospitalised !!

NAIROBI (AFP) - Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed was hospitalised in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Tuesday, amid conflicting reports on the seriousness of the 72-year-old's condition.

"The Somali president has been admitted here. He is in serious condition," said one hospital official, who declined to be identified.

If the TFG charter wasn't changed, the speaker of parliament becomes interim president until members of parliament "vote" to elect a new TFG president.

So according to the TFG charter a new President is "voted" on. Their is no power up movement, so the PM stays put.

If so does the new President have to be voted in from the current government or can anyone be voted in?

To my knowledge sxb the president must come from within parliament. That was also true for the prime minister and all ministers until Xildhibaan Hiiraale suggested that be changed to allow all intellectuals to have a say in the TFG.
