To be honest, I really think polygamy is OK, but I sympathize with women about polygamy in just 1 way, and that is when I think about the women imagining her husband in a very intimate act with another woman.
I can appreciate the woman's justified jealousy.....some more than others.
This is very gross, but I tried to put myself in the shoes of a woman (not literally). And then I tried to imagine her husband in an intimate act with another woman, the exchange of body fluids and him inside another woman. I can see how the other woman would take it pretty hard.
That is 1 of the only two times I am sympathetic to polygamy. The other time is:
If I had a wife that sacrificed a lot for me and did everything she could for me & loved me with all her heart. Even if I didn't love her as much, I would be bounded by loyalty not to look at another woman.
So girls, I think we can reach a compromise. Here are the terms:
1. The guys won't advocate openly for it and the women won't actively speak against it.
2. You acknowledge it is xalaal without a million and one preconditions.
3. You say: "I have nothing against it, but I don't want it to happen to me"
I think this is fair.
