The article didn't state anywhere that Burco's lawless, however i'd be surprised if he got away without any punishment

The police are a big joke.....i remember when i was there in 2002 the police just stopped our vehicle randomly....there were 2 police officers on the main road tellin us to stop....me being only 17 and just learned how to drive, i was thinkin that i was going to recieve a fine or some sorts and my cousin is tellin me switch the lights off and step on the gas......i was too scared so i stopped and they ask me where i'm goin, i reply i'm goin there and there....then they just get in the back and are like "Ina qaad hadaba, meelahaa ayaan ku soconaa".

Good thing you've stopped Cali gaab !! By the way when driving this " Istaag , nalka dami" shyte is a VERY , very bad habit caught from them Faqash days . Do you know that a SL minister was killed in those circumstances{ back in the 90's} simply because his driver failed to stop.
Whe I said the Police in Burco is more efficient , I meant they are more aware of what's going on in their city .

Somalilanders aren't very hospitable ppl, do you know that the Mogadishu Journalists that were killed, arrested and abused by Ethiopians and TFG run to Hargiesa for political asylum and they were told to leave and not come back!
I mean, are they that scared of Ethiopians that they can't let independant journalists that lost their rights under Ethiopian occupation to stay in Somaliland?
