EID IN SOMALIA... CALL FROM XAMAR...

Postby Alchemist » Sun Dec 16, 2007 9:43 pm

Just got a call from my brother in Xamar.. as soon as i picked up the phone he asked for my mom, i thought something bad had happened, maybe the Ethiopians arrested him or something Laughing (god forbid) Anyways, after he finished talking to my mom i asked her what had happen and she said he just called to remind her to send money for some kids there so that they could buy some new EID clothes... $40 dollars is enough for 3 kids, at least those poor kids should be happy on eid plus is a good deed walahi...

Inshallah lets not forget about our people on this eid no matter where they are.. If you have distant relatives or want to send money to orphans in your regions it would also be a good idea...

I've been sending money to my abti in Jiddah every eid no for the past few.

Too much family in Somalia so I let the parents take care of them.
