Majerten are a top political, economical etc. clan no question about it. Look at Puntland. However the question people have been asking is can MJ unite, rally and convince people to form a nation? I think a lot of the greed Majerten have exhibited leads everyone to be suspicious of them. Look at the TFG for instance; AY is basically trying to tell everybody 'either get down or lay down'. Get down with the TFG or get pummeled by Tigray. How far is that gonna take the TFG sxb?

How can uncivilized Somalis who have been robbing, killing each other for 20 years establish Sharicah on a dime saaxib? Its not as easy as handing a Mooryan a cimmamad and a AK.

Islam should be implemented in its purest form, or not implemented at all. Somalis cannot implement it at its purest form. I say get a Federal Democratic system and let people practice the Religion as induviduals. Once Somalis get used to nadaam, get dhaqan Somaliyeed back, etc. then think about Sharicah. However its important for that Democratic system to be transparant meaning nobody should be able to take advantage of power in secret.

Good questions raised yaa akhi. MJ are 100% behind their leader AY and we're one of the most united clans in Somalia today. AY is not the most ideal leader, but he's the perfect clan leader in today's Somalia. We have an image problem that we can't just solve with a creative PR stunt, nor can we change our ways because that would make the nation even more suspicious.

We don't know where the TFG is going to take us, but it's better than nothing. We don't take the extremist Hawiye threats seriously, because they can't do jack to us at the end of the day, which feeds their frustration even more. The least we get out of it is booli qaran a la Cayr with Carta, but we're waiting and hoping for the total control of the south with the help of our Hawiye and Ethiopian allies. That's the grand prize and the only reason why MJ is in Xamar right now.

I think the presidency of somalia should be awarded to someone neutral to both Hawyie and Darod.Ogaden should be the next president.
