i respect that, but I don't want to be like Turkey

we can't have stuff like alcohol in Somalia being sold, we can't ban Hijab, we can't have people giving fatwas that people can pray only 3 times a day due to the "modern world", ect

what you're saying is what Luq is saying

sharia + clan ambitions = deadly
Most ppl who call for Sharia Law are genuine. The problem is many of them don't know much about Islam and are too naive. Behind the scenes are ambition leaders who want to use Islam as fig leaf for their lust for power. With man made laws at least I can challenge what I deem unfair but with supposedly Allah's perfect laws, how can I speak against what I see as injustice? Would I not be rebuking Allah's laws? The whole muslim world made the decision not to live under Sharia Law and rightly so. So too should Somalis.
you're right, the conditions aren't fit for sharia

but i still believe the judicial system has to be in shariah courts....

but it would take a generation to educate the masses on what is shariah, how it is used, ect.....

Walahi anyone who believes sharia is not fit for todays age and time is a kafir.

Walahi anyone who believes the diin should only be in the masjid is either ignorant or a kafir..

I aint calling anyone out but some of you'll really have issues..

Before you even speak about politics i think you should learn the basics of islam....

Speaking abou the Religion without knowledge is a big nono. A lot of these simpletons don't even know the basic tenents of Islam when they dismiss it as a political way of life. They only thing they know about Islam is the MSNBC 'burqa' and 'execution' Taleban videos. Alchemist the question is how are these idiots any different from Katherine and John? Americans who are reknowned for their stupidity worldwide are being mimicked like parrots by Somalis who wish to gain a 'urbanite' and 'modern' type label. I know these guys inside out sxb.

But for different reasons is it not? However, I don't think you are psychotic, malleable is more appropriate if you know what I mean...

Katherine and john loool.. Sxb at least americans were not raised as muslims... But yeah walahi is disgusting to see some somalis thinking as if ilbaxnimo (leaving islam) will take them anywhere..

And the sad part is the number of ilbax somalis (modernist) is on the rise..

I think the bottom line is Sharicah advocators are a big part of Somalia's future. People diverse clan backrounds like Alchemist, Shirib, Awdal, FAH etc. were the heart and soul of the ICU, even though the top leadership was wayward. I say all Sharicah, Islam lovers should make their own koox and leave the qabil realm so they can become an irrestiable force. I myself love Islam as a political way of live, and my concerns have been with it not being implemented properly through a qabil tinged version of the Sharicah. That being said theres harsh opponents, and its safe to say that many Somalis have apostated from the Religion altogether in their frantic rush to embrace secularism and Western ideals without even thinking about it.

Luq,

Somali weyn shir instead of just koonfur shir. Hawiye, dir, digil&mirifle,mx,mj,and others are not agree anything even sharia law. By the way you forget to invite two of biggest clan of koonfur Dir and Digil&mirifle I am not happy that and I think Shirib also is not happy that.

Shieldblow,

I left out DM, Dir on purpose. Not because they are not important, but because they are at peace with everybody, and are not holding the country back from peace. If those 4 clans I mentioned reconcile, Somaliweyn is back.

Luq,

What is needed is for HG-Abgal to reconcile. Then Somaliweyn is back, since Hawiye is back.

Thats the easy way, sorry if your group is left out.

You can play in the league of Ceyr.
