Habibii its all about tracing , offer and sale.
Its depend on the SLSH / Somaliland money supply.
And a weakened Somaliland Shilling is good for Somaliland diaspora and West Somaliland.
However it has strengthened - 1000 shilling towards Dollar .
Now you get only 5200 shilling for a 1 USD ( in august 2007 it was 6300 )

Did you know the Ethiopians pay 2 billion Birr yearly (!) Ethiopian consumers and inland market is very important for Djiboutian businessmen. After all its over 200 mill USD yearly they earn directly.

How is Somaliland doing "good" politically when they had to elect an outsider as their president.....Simply the "Landers" are having problems sharing power....Hopefully they will soon fix their issue before its fixed for them...

Can you define the term "outsider" in which you've placed their president in?

Pink Punny, saxib Isaaq is Dir. They are called Isaaq Guure Axmed and Ciise Guure Axmed. It is quite sad that they would dissociate themselves from their real clan.

Iidoor Dir weeyee hadduu duulan soo kiciyo
Dunji Habar Magaadluhu hadduu dabarka soo gooyo
Dunbuq iyo rasaastana hadduu debecsanuu siiyo

Listen girl....he's an inhabitant of the "Somaliland region" therefor he has as much rights as everyone else, on top of that he has been elected by it's people and yes that includes Isaaq subclans.
The previous presidents where Isaaq and for all i care the next one could be tumaal.

Now, according to your statement, the tribe thats the majority of that particular region is only eligible to have the most highest rank in politics and the rest should asume the doggy position.

This aint Puntland where your leader is a former gas station employee.
