As expected from Deyniile iyo Shabelle.net... did these pillars of professional journalism write about the plight of minorities in Sh. Hoose iyo Jubooyinka? Doubt it.

Why would the natives of Sh. Hoose be against the TFG?

The TFG is incompetent and corrupt to the core but it's the only game in town. The other side is bickering among themselves and fissured into Al-shabaab vs Asmara faction. It's unfortunate that the hapless TFG is the only recourse.

Shirib, have you been to the lower Shabelle? Don't take my word for it, read the UN report on Indhacadde's occupational administration that went as low as selling river water to the rightful inhabitants of Sh. Hoose.

My family lives in Lower Shabelle, and we will take back Yusuf Siad the traitor in a blink of an eye over the TFG. They can take there parlimentary seats back and go back to where ever they came from. You didn't have to worry about getting blown up for going to the marker when Yusuf Siad was ruling

Let me guess, you're from Afgooye, right? Afgooye wasn't under Indhacadde, I think it was under Cirfo... bottom line, the whole region was under Ceyr occupation. Some say security improved with Indhacadde's assumption of power but at what expense?

If you think live was better under Indhacadde in SH. hoose, go talk to natives of baraawe, Marka, Kunturwaarey etc; go read the reports compiled by neutral 3rd party organizations like the UN.

The reason why your family's life is turned upside down lately is because of the stubbornness of Ceyr in letting go of sh. hoose. They have what's called MAACUUN - a farrago of minor clans who have been duped into believing there's Holy War going on. Slowly but assuredly the MAACUUNS are realizing their folly and are abandoning Ceyr tuugs.

Xamar is all but pacified.

Yea my family lives in Afgooye. I've talked to Tunni, Bagadi from Shabelle Hoose and other people from there and all the ones I've seen say they'll take Habar Gedir control over TFG.

Shirib, I understand why they would say that - their degaans are battle zones now. But once Ceyr calooley are squashed and done for good in SH. Hoose, then we will see what these groups have to say. Right now it's unfair to compare the two situations. The good news is Bimaal are now hold the Minister of Defense post, they can marshal all the resources of the TFG to gain the upper hand just like Ceyr used the TNG.

Shirib,

Do not lisen to incoherent reasoning by those on the wrong side of history.

Yes, Ceyrs occupation of Lower Shabelle is something which must come to an end since no landexpansion/occupation is allowed in Somalia. The same logic applies to their JVA-remnants.

Now, the question is: Can one be against Ceyr's occupation of Lower Shabelle and at the same time against Ethiopia's occupation of Somalia?

Yes, it is a natural argument since no group is allowed to go into another group's lands and occupy it forcefully, displace the groups, destroy their livelihoods etc etc.

What traitors want us to believe: One who is against Ceyrs occupation of Lower Shabelle must be pro-Ethiopia...and pro-puppet regime. Does it make sense? Not really, what does it care to trade one kind of occupation (Ceyrs occupation of Lower Shabelle) for another kind of occupation (Ethiopia's occupation of Somalia). Isn't freedom and security what every Somali group wants? Freedom to chose their own future and govern their own lands/people without interference of other groups....Security to defend the property and people living in their own lands?

Hence, why one should oppose the Ethiopian occupation of Somalia, while at the same time speaking out against the injustices done by particular groups after 1991.

This is a notorious Haweiye, HG practice especially, and it was a very common practice in Baydhabo too. These actions left the realm of humanity.
