Can a society find strength in diversity??

This is a topic that came up at my school this morning. I just want to see what people in different age groups and countries have to say about this even though the majority of the forumers here are from somalia.

I do strongly believe in Diversity because it is the spice of life. lolThrough it, we become stronger, more interesting...with out diversity i believe we're bland and unimaginative. take a look at somalia for example...lol

What's your opinion on this??

It's great in the sense that people learn about new customs but it also has its problems...i.e prejiduce, discrimination

Not great when u diverse with adoons. They belong in plantations.

Diversity is important I think. You learn other cultures and have respect for them. It gives you a chance to ask qeustions and get things clarified. Rather than misjudging others with what you think which can be wrong to start with

Prejudice & discrimination tend to be less in diversed groups as compared to homogenious groups!

Diversity stronges the society or even within one family.
that is why islam brotherhood is not by blood but by faith
black is brother of white, Arab, Asian
just happen people hate or prejudise against what they don't know.
so when you mix with other and know them close all the myth cover will broke and see the person or the group as they are not whats they background.
