Rock, I love kids and everything about them. It's one of the wonder's of Allah (swt). To see something that came from you grow right infront of you and to be totally dependent on you is truely amazing.

Hard Rock,

Kids should only come 3-4 years after a couple have been married...otherwise its like throwing fuel in to a fire.

If you finished school and found your girl what are you waiting for? Listen you are having cold feet over this issue cause deep down you don't feel as though she's "that girl". When you find "that girl" you'll marry her plain and simple. She isn't the girl of your dreams which is why you probably are worrying whether you'd regret this or not, which in that case I suggest you have what we call an open relationship with her. Forget about marriage think deep about whether this is the girl you want to marry, to mother your children? Or is it that you just have a problem with getting married in general? Cause believe me marriage life is beyond words. The joy in my heart, the sparkle in my eyes....

Aah, he's doing the whole Sh Cabdiqadir thing. Go to Kenya to your Wife and Kids and be back in 3 months. Great. Wallahi I'd like to live in Atlanta but I don't think theres any work there. Great community, cheap cost of living but no jobs. I heard the Cadaan from Lousiana and other Katrina hit areas took all the jobs. What kind of Duruus was Sh Cabdinuur giving besides Quran memorization maybe?

Lol, this guy is real serious and then you got guys like advocator coming with a whole cartoon script pretending to be married.

Topic maker....i guess marriage is fun in the beginning as there are many benefits although i'm one of those guys who are not ready for no commitment.

Dont just rush into marriage as it's a fashion thing going on right now....you need to be able to see passed your wedding night and the first night together.....what are you gonna do 2weeks later for example?

Just let your brothers or cousins get married before you and see how it goes for them.

Pinny, It is not the girl that I question, it is the marriage(the forever union) that I question. She is walahi everything you will want about a woman. She grew-up with many brothers too so she is flexible, she likes sports and she has good social life but the idea of getting locked-up for good scares me.
