the first thing you notice once you open the link, is how similar the whole thing look to gaalo catwalk. its nothing more than a cheap imitation of western fashion show, and the hijab is accidental as far as am concerned.. aint the sisters creative enough to come out with something unique and totaly different from this palava?...something that will do justice to them, their faith and promote modesty in a positive light; i mean thats moral message of this right? or is it just another bussines venture with an Islamic logo

whats with the contradiction anyway?...at one hand we beleive in Allah and the holly Qur'an...and yet we turne to ideas of none beleivers and use it as a yard stick to promote muslim women's clothes and call it...what are they again?...models or modest?...

biko,

first of all, i see nothing wrong with a business venture with an Islamic Logo...more power to muslim businesses. that said, i think i know where your disapproval lies.. the layout of the fashion show is "modeled"(no pun intended) after mainstream gaalo fashion..that's your issue huh?

so the models walking down the runway rub u the wrong way miyaa?..u'd prefer mannequins huh? LOL. listen, as a muslim woman, i'd like to see anything pertaining to the lives of muslim women channeled through positive and profitable outlets..from fashion to finance..so if you have better suggestions on how we can market an industry in dire need of advertising and global marketability, then toss in your 2 cents huuno, otherwise, get off the blame bandwagon, too many on board as it is already.
