^ I remember when I visited London in 2001, my mom told all about the Somalis in London and how they were a big shame. They've been like this for YEARS. Its just now they're getting media coverage and there is a brighter spotlight on them.
Something has to be done. Seriously. My heart goes out to the youth who are doing well in life and the fact they will be lumped in with the gang bangers.

The Somali Community in London need to come together and find a dam! solution and put Politics aside for once.
The Issaq elders need to stop eating Khat in front of their kids that would also help.
