friends in high places

any of ya'll got one??

one of my good friends in school back in the day contacted me the other day, he was wishing me well and all...to my surprise, he's done quite alright for himself, not just financially but also boast of a high and power yielding position. he says we should stay in touch and to give him a shout if i ever needed anything. i never really had a friend in such high place. i'm not exactly about to use and abuse his offer, but damn it feels good to know someone of such caliber. lol.

I got friends in the police force, Mayor's office, state government, and also friends in the streets

Money? Poltiics? Power?

It might not hurt to keep him in your ROLODEX in times of a rainy day.

if he's an old friend & he just wants to keep in touch well then stay in touch!

You might be in a jam one time & call on a friend. Nothing unethical about that.

Aw252,

I would reacted in accordance to how she acted. Just because she had a cordial friendship with a dude doesn't mean I should presuppose anything. There was no indecent proposal & until I could determine he had ulterior motives you would need to trust her.

he's a consultant....working with very influential firms...they have hands in politics too..domestically and internationally.
