I Blame The ICU And TFG......

Directly or indirectly both these groups have contributed to the rekindling of severe feelings of intense hatred that were slowly starting to die out. I blame the ICU for their series of blunders, lack of political clout that has made Somalia a magnet for B-52's and I blame the TFG for their assortment of oppritunists/warlords who are bent on fattening up their pockets at the expense of the civlian population.

But which do you blame the most since one is worse the the other? I would say the puppet regime.

The ICU are also a danger which we should reckon with, If only they lost to the warlords in feb 2006 lool. At that time I believed those warlords were the lesser evil, and also the known ones. The ICU gave the people false hope, then made the run out of Somalia within 7 days...and not to forget turn the world on us with their radical speeches.

I agree, the UIC has let down the somali people but not being able to defend us from ethiopia.

If they could not defend somalia from Ethiopia, why did they not just stay only in Mog and not spread all over somalia

I agree, but the whole TFG are tuug, we should expect the worse from them and see them similar to as the ethiopians, i.e enemy of the somali people.

I say the ICU beause of that devastating legacy You must mentioned. 6 months of peace they brought to Southern Somalia is not worth having an x on our back for our entire existance. Infact the repercussions of the TFG, Warlords etc. is actually much less. To be honest life under the Warlords wasn't bad and sooner or later things would have really turned around eventually. The Kismayo, Xamar, Gedo markets were connected, Berbera, Bossaso were connecting lifestock traders from Mudug and even Galgudud. Galkacyo, Golgodob and Beledweyn were connected. Sure there may have been some isbaaros here or there but in hindsight we were actually spoiled and privaliged, lool.

they turned the clan wars into ideoligal/nationalistic war

they made the enemy come out inthe light instaed of hiding behing puppets and warlords

they brought the sleeping somalis into the conflict,now its a choice :choose a side.

they knew this country was going to be occupied ,it was their long term plan to fight the occupiers now instead of 50 yeras later

somalis deserves no better than fighting for their rights

we were laughing and killing eachother beacuse of clan while our brothers in Ogaden/NFD were slaughtered day and night for half a century

Now we are in the same boat ,menaing more power to fight the Abyysynian enemy

its long strugle that can take many decades ,but the fruits will be good,,and we are all in action,meaning we have got started the process

sooner or later we would just be fighting this war against this mean enemy

You're a respectable guy and a good representetive of the of the ICU but the fact is 99% of the people coming from that ICU angle arn't thinking in that realm. For every Shirib theres a Somali4life, Bigboss, Galia etc. Somalis have actually continued to decay to all time low levels AFTER the whole ICU/TFG drama then in the warlord hayday. People have sunk lower. Infact I now look back nostalgicly at the warlord days. There was actually some light at the end of the tunnel and the whole Country wasn't thrown in a flux that has no end in sight the way it is now
