Every week he whines and gives interviews to al-jazeera, Al-sharq-alwsat etc. Its obvious he aint' go nowhere with this. Somaliland won't provide him a base, Puntland won't, Djaboiuti won't and Eritrea turned down his request of Eritrean army to counter the Ethiopian army. This sheikh has lost the plot and should just go Xaj or something

Sh. Shariif holds a PHD in Islamic Jurispurudence, spent more than 15 years teaching the Quran, prays 5 times a day, performed Hajj numerous times and is fighting to liberate his country from an infidel army.

Compare him to A/Yusuf's track record.

Imagine sitting in Asmara, get served with meal everyday, read the newspapers and give interviews. Thats what he has been doing for the past year or so. Basically, he has no where to go

If fighting to liberate the country is to sit idle in Asmara, then he's a war hero. The reality is, Sheick Sharif put us in this mess for being aggressive towards other regions and lumping sharia with qabiil

Sh. Shariif was sidelined during the call for Jihad, unlike Aweys & Indhacade; he was a rational man. While he was away at Hajj, the ICU vs. Tigre war broke out. He spent many months in the jungles of Southern Somalia where he lived through the reality of American bombers.

In Asmara he is serving a purpose, which is bringing attention back to the disaster that is the TFG's incompetence and Ethiopia's oppression. He is the legitimate leader of Somalia, because he was elected by a shura & ruled using the Shari'ah.

He is the legitimate leader of he's tribe, who are the so called shura who elected him and do they represent everyone is somalia? How is it you support shariah but had no problem with siyada barre and he's socialist/communist government?
