In all fairness, the Umar maxmud were armed by the Somali Government esp. Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke & Mohamed Abshiir & Abdirizak Haji hussein.

Abdullahi Isse Maxamud warned them to stop using government resources in their tribal feuds.

There's this Colonel Police officer who is Gaaljecel and lives Dixon Rd at this moment. He mentioned that he was part of the Police officers who were transfered from Baydhabo to Galkacyo to fight with what musuq-masuq Government called "Burcad" but realized later it was simply one clan using the government army to another.
