Somaliland Defence Forces in Gambadh visited by the Sool governor.

Las'Anod(Qaran)-The Somaliland Defence Forces are currently in Gambadh and have already established a large base there received a visit from senior members of the Sool region administration including the Governor Ali Mohamed Sandulle.
The Somaliland Defence Forces took up their new position at the Gambadh without countering any opposition. According to senior sources with the Defence Forces the previous occupying forces withdrew from the area in the face of a large and mechanised forces from Somaliland.
According to the source, the Somaliland Defence Forces are steadily continuing to secure all of Somaliland's eastern borders.
As the Somaliland Defence Forces established a base in Gambadh, they received a visit from the Governor of Sool, Mudane Ali Mohamed Sandulle and the commander of the Easter Sector Col. Ali Abdi Mire.
In his remarks to the Qarannews, Mudane Ali Mohamed Sandulle stated " We must praise for the professionalism of the Somaliland Defence Forces and the operation they had carried out this morning. The regional government is behind our Defence Forces, every step of the way and thanks to this morning's developments we will be able to assist the residents in the area who have encountered a severe draught".
There have been no official comments from the Somaliland government and the Puntland regional authority on this morning's developments around Gambadh.
There were noticeable military manoeuvres around the Las Anod this morning as a result of the Somaliland Defence Forces forward movement toward Gambadh, but there area is quiet at this time.
