Burco having a higher population than Kismayo, Bossaso etc. is not suprising at all as millions of millions of money was pumped into there. Infact the only cites that received serious funding in the past Goverments were Xamar, Hargeisa, Burco then Beledweyn, Berbera and Kismayo to a lesser degree. The only thing that was built in Bossaso was the dekad but reer Bossaso worked extremely hard. Reer Woqooyi also deserve major kuddos for being civilized and not destroying what they inheritied. The fact that Bossaso, Galkacyo are among Somalia's top cities today shows how hard those people worked but it also shows how pathetic a state Somalia is in. For intance if Somalia is to become industrialized one day whole neighborhoods will have to become demolished, shops destoryed etc. due to zero urban planning. Also Reer Woqooyi will either have to get aqoonsi or join Somalia sooner or later because those highways, buildings etc. will all need serious repair soon if not already and they'll need Government loans to do that. All in all Somalia is up against it.
