I dont think Puntland has the courage or will to excercise anything to provoke somaliland.Remember the closest capital is not hargiesa but garowe and somaliland is as solid as a 100 year old oak tree while puntland goes from one crisis to another.
Ps the Warsengeli have no balls they have been removed under orders from the JSL.

Somalia: Ethiopian Officials Blame Puntland Leader for Insecurity
Garowe Online (Garowe)
15 February 2008
Posted to the web 15 February 2008
ADDIS Ethiopian Foreign Ministry officials have blamed the leader of Somalia's Puntland region for rising insecurity during a meeting with interim Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf, confidential sources told Garowe Online.
The Ethiopian government officials spoke to President Yusuf at a meeting in the capital Addis Ababa with Puntland President Mohamud "Adde" Muse present, sources in Addis Ababa said.
The officials said insecurity in Puntland is having an adverse affect on stability in Ethiopia, especially in the Somali Regional State bordering the Puntland regions.
The Puntland administration was accused of "lax security" that allows Ethiopian rebel movements like the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) to use Puntland ports and coastline to land weapons and other materials.
Some officials in Puntland President Muse's government were accused of "taking bribes" from opponents of Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi's government, sources close to the meeting reported.
The Ethiopian foreign ministry officials also informed President Yusuf that they received a request for the deployment of Ethiopian troops in Puntland from Muse, but that the Ethiopian government "rejected" the request on grounds that insecurity in Puntland is a result of the region's leaders and not the public.
During the meeting, Ethiopian officials said their soldiers fighting in south Somalia have captured tons of weapons, some of which were originally donated to Puntland by the Ethiopian military but later sold in the black market.
Puntland has been one of Somalia's more stable regions since its formation in 1998, but the region has experienced an unprecedented rise in corruption and criminal activities since Muse came to power in 2005.
It is not clear what move the Ethiopian government wants President Yusuf to make in light of their complaints against the Puntland leader.
But many observers see Yusuf, the former Puntland strongman, as the region's de facto ruler long after his ascension to the Somali presidency.
If warsengeli were as powerful as claimed by some they would not be hiding while their two brothers are getting ready for war.Its like HJ not supporting HY and HA while they go to war with an enemy we claim to have beatten several times. The reality on the ground as Warsengeli have been house trained and outside the net can speak anything Ill of isaaq.
Can you imagine the amout of fear those two sub clans must have inflicted on the Warsengelis,to not support their own flesh and blood.......
False, for one we are logical we have been behind PL and TFG we have thousands of troops stationed in Mogdushio. Why fight SL in Sool when they pose a huge threat in Western Sanaag where there stationed? Isaaqs never created the reef between LA or Sool but it was a division long before, SL was able to take advantage of. Warsangeli are politically in a different situation I'd rather faciltate development projects then redirect resources to a war we have nothing to do with. When SL makes its way to Maakhir neither reer Sool or PL will aid in our fight against them but indirectly fight against us. Isaaqs as the recent incident with the German Aid worker are our main concern, we are demonstarting governance and security in our region for development not to be dragged down by the negative effects of Puntland and Somaliland wars in Sool. This will boast our crediability and international support in Maakhir.

Sanaag= Reer Geraads Kingdom
Cadallah do not be concerned with the affairs of Maakhir which has existed prior to Puntland. Puntland neither Somaliland have no grip over the Reer Geraad Kingdom.
But we do dictate the lifeline of Puntlands only port, Bosaasso.
