We all share this Failed State:

Marehans 20%( for sitting on the seat too long AND introducing nepotism and clan favoritism)

HG 40%( For instigating war with every Somali clan and destroying the capital)

Abgaal 10%( For their share of Moqdisho distruction and bring the Ethiopians)

Majeerteen 15% ( For their share of bringing the Ethiopians and starting first ever rebel against the Government)

Isaaaqs 5% ( For starting the SNM rebel)

Rest of Daroods(OG, dhulos, Warsans, Leelkase) 3% for their share of the Hawiye vs Darood civil war

Rest of Hawiye(Murursade, Hawaadle, Gaaljecel etc) 3% For their share of the Hawiye vs DArood civil war

Digle and Mrifle 3% for getting involved in the Hawiye vs Darood civil war and their unholy alliance with Hawiye

Minorities( Jareer Weyn, reer xamar, etc) 1% for also backing Hawiye albeit with lesser extent
Interesting argument

I'm not saying we didn't have anything to do with Somalia's problems but truth be told nepotism and clan favoritism were introduced by the MJ dominated civilian administrations hence why the Kacaan was necessary and why all Somalis (except for MJs for obvious reasons) welcomed the blessed Kacaan with open arms.

xoogsade, SYL was started by Majerten and the first government was Mudolood government. How did we introduce nepotism when Mudlood were running the show for 7 years? When we took over the Government, Abdirashid(AUN) was assassinated before we realized his potential. We only ruled 2 years and thats not long enough to introduce anything.

Teeda kale, Why did Siyad Barre wanted to get back to Moqdisho after he was chased? It would have been better if he didn't resist for the sake of the Government.

the reason for the somali demise is simple

1- hebel oo tuug ah baa ii adeer ah therefore he is good since he is from my clan. look no further then the Mareexaan, every Mareexaan belives as matter of faith that Maxamed Afweyne was the best thing happened to somalia , whereas 99% of somalis disagree.

As far as the rebbel groups they were pushed to war by the Maxamed Afweyne regime and his croonies , the rebbel groups can't be blamed on the somali demise , they had to fight, they were pushed to fight , they had no option.

loooool. Good one sxb.

"Teeda kale, Why did Siyad Barre wanted to get back to Moqdisho after he was chased? It would have been better if he didn't resist for the sake of the Government."

Actually after the Darood armies crumbled due to infighting while a couple brigades of Mareexaan soldiers made it all the way back to wadadii No 50. The general did decide to give up and let the rebels form a government but the problem was none of them had any plans other than to overthrow the kacaan.

Xaar-playa

Actually more people admire AUN Maj. Gen. Pres. Maxamed Siyaad Barre today for his patriotism and great vision than did when he first came to power.

Ama ku farax ama intaad qol isku soo xirtid qaad iyo qamri oohin la dul fadhiiso the great general is/was and will always be the father of modern Somalia.

How does D&M and other Hawiye get the same share. There were few D&M people in the civil war. D&M didn't even have a real militia until the RRA.

Remember how you guys surprised the unsuspecting Marehans running from the USC and robbed and killed them on their way to Gedo? Also, you have a share in allowing the Ethiopians comming to Somalia. I was generous there for your kin

I'm not sayin we don't desreve a share, I'm sayin do we deserve the same amount as Xawadle, Murunsade, etc who were at the height of USC, Xawadle were crazier then Habar Gedir when the war first started.

I believe Shariif Sheik Xassan was anti Ethiopian, and when he was there parliment voted against Ethiopians then he got the pink slip.

But Digle and Mrifle gave base to the TFG after everybody else rejected them. Even Galkayo people refused a base for the TFG

D&M were part of the USC and they were at the forefront of the USC Bardhere attack and it was through their hands I lost some relatives. Shirib Your clan arn't angels just like mine arn't. As far as who was responsible for the fall of the Somali State it was the Somali people and Eithiopia considering SNM, SSDF, USC were all Mengistu created puppets. If MSB AUN is going to be blamed for Somalias problems today, then maybe he was infact a zookeeper as was alway said to him, and he wasn't governing mature adults.

Dadkaan caqligooda maadan fahmin miyaa? AUN Maj. Gen. Pres. MSB and his Kacaan are to be blamed for everything thats wrong with Somalia yet he can't be praised for anything his Kacaan did.

Shirib

Dadkaaga waxeey maatadeena ku sameeyeen waa wax bini'aadin nimada ka baxsan and thats why we went Ilkayar on you guys. Just be glad our commanders were able to stop us or they'd be none of your people left in Baay or Bakool.

This is what being delusional actually means. The reason MSB and his gang couldn't muster the bravery and courage to come back to Mogadishu was because they got the fear of god placed in them. Stop lying to yourself with these fantasies. MSB and his gang were beaten to the point that it became a fashion to scare kids in Utanga and Kakuma to finish their dinner or else Aideed an his men will come. I am amazed that such a recent history and turmoil you were forced to go through would die out on you so soon. But what else would you expect from a clan that suffers from a collective amnesia.
