I would open a farm in Baardhere, and try to claim some of my Grandfathers AUN plantations. Unfortunately I don't know the laws of inheritance so I don't know what I'd be entitled to exactly.

Baardhere is where its at

Either that, Luuq or Kismayo but I have to be near water and be in lush land. I hate barren land no offense to anybody.
\

Baardheere is a like Afgooye, just not as big

Emperior,

Hadi runta la sheego, if You invest in some farming equipment, buy a landcruiser You can get a huge farm outside of Baardhere for free by just claiming it. Infact the NGO's in that area would be very happy that You're doing that and would probably help You. They've been trying to get people there to farm for Years, laakin only some do, lol. This is why Hawiyeaha are better than a lot of Marexaanka and Ogadeen because the Hawiye in Shabeelaha all farm, and the OG/MR in Gedo/Jubboinka only do it when they have to. Geel yaasha Gedo and Jubboinka waa in laga kaxeeyo meesha, lool.

Cadallah,

Do it before some fat azz Khaleej Carabs claim it before You, loool

I may consider to move to Somalia but only settling in a non-established urban centre with like minded Somalis with the aim of helping other needy Somalis become sulf sucient and non-reliant on government and ngo's handouts. It is kind of a vission of educated Somali people from all tribal backgrounds coming together and finding a new place for displaced Somalis and start for them self-help programs like the Israeli communal Kabbutz's where everyone is treated equally whether it is the way they live or what they consume. It could be a new dawn and a new beggining for Somalis to trust each other again.

The Hawiye in Shabelle don't farm or atleast the ones that came now don't they force the jareer to farm.

D&M and jareer are the clans that farm, u nomads should try learning it, its a lot more profitable than being a nomad.

For everyone who said they would go back, how about the massive adjustment you'd have to make? The technology in Africa in general is not close to what it is in the West and simple things like drinking water straight from the tap wouldn't be possible (you have to boil the water back home before drinking it or you can get sick since under 30% of Somalia has safe drinking water), not to mention all the hazardous waste dumped in our country during the last 17 years...also, the entertainment industry is virtually non-existant compared to here, which we're all used to on a daily basis
