If you read the accounts of British Colonial Officers in Yemen and Somalia you will see they are very, very, similar..they are not a tad more civilised, just a tad luckier..

Those are not yemenis... Although The picture address says they are... You can see that they are not. Those are afghans/Pashtuns... the hats on their heads are not worn by arabs.... The clothing.... The way they wear those turbans and they look like pashtuns.

That photo is clearly showing Pashtun militia, not Yemeni. Though Yemenis do have their own militias in pickups and such, it is not the guys in the photo.

But, Yemenis and Somalis are not the same or even close, its like comparing xaran to xalal. Yemen, though not nearly as fortunate as their neighbors, remains a strong country with political ambitions that it follows through with. Their economy has already grown by several HUNDRED PERCENT since 2004.
