They're retards. The only valid terms you could use are:
"Somali" (ethnic definition)
"Kenyan" (national definition)
or "Nomad Elder" (specific definition)
Somalian is the one term you CAN'T use, because the town is located in Kenya.
Somalian is the national definition of a citizen of Somalia that does not have to be Somali, since it's a term of citizenship (ie Somalis, Somali Bantus, Bravanese, Bajuni or Benadiri, etc)

There's no such thing as Somalian. Its Somali. We should start calling them AmericI instead of American and see if they figure it out.

Like Someone said, We are called Somalis...Not Somalians. Go read about our history on the internet, They all call us Somalis and not Somalians. Do you see Iraqis being called Iraqians?
