Fuss in phony Investments in Abu Dubai

Many of my family members including my sister are contemplating buying houses in UAE for investment. We, Somalis, are easily influenced and just hear the information through one ear. Can anyone give me how this UAE home investments work? In my view, I would rather buy a home or build new home back home than invest in Arab country. What do you think?

Walahi my sister was about to buy a property a year ago. An apartment in Dubai. She delayed it and was looking to buy again this month. She said within that year the prices have shot up.

people do you mean buying properties in sharjah or ajman. prices in dubai are very high. we own few properties in dubai and one in sharjah.

What if you don't have the legal papers to stay in the country? How would you be able to get your money? And what if those Arabs who aren't abided by any laws kick you out all the sudden.

Sharjah is a suburb but not far from being a Greater Metro Dubai in the near future. Investing in the UAE and the Dubai/Abudhabi vicinity you wont loose your invest they''ll still be a return whether short term or long.

If your purely investing you dont need legal papers but you do need a down payment as well as documents displaying your income to obtain a loan. With the reform of property laws as of 02 outsiders can purchase property within Dubai and 04 Abu dhabi.
