Leila 2007 it shows how lack of knowledge and experience you have.

Accounting is nothing compare to Marketing or Finance and as I stated before it's boring. I have a CGA certificate and worked as an Accountant for 3 years. So don't tell me what I know and don't know. Secondly as Stated before unless you have the verbal/intellectual and communication experience, then you can't even grasp the concept of being in a Marketing field. Secondly 90% of work in Mutual Fund Industry is done by Marketers for your info (ex. when launching a new fund). Get your fact straight before you jump into a topic that you have no knowledge or experience in. Some of us are actually working on the field we mentioned and as stated was directed to the topic creator Naima.
not easy for coloured or minority people to find jobs in that field ...
May be but i hardly doubt that. Im pretty sure a company just want employee that is very sensitive to know what the market is telling and creative to take action.

Naima when you work in the Marketing field you have to deal with clients face to face and do large presentation relating to launching project. Trust me It's not an equal opportunity field like under career or job field. Company does care about their image too that's why they are cautious when in comes to certain field to give to minority people. Unless of course you work for a urban company

You get very high commissions (basic salary of traders and stock brokers is very low but their commissions and all extra's are very high), plus you get major insider information working around professionals (you will get to know all kinds of hidden gems!) and you could use that on your own money!

do we have argeement that IMAGE is the bottom and the face-value of the copamny?...and how do the company achieve a great communications skills to the customers? well smart business leaders agree that their most valuable asset is their people and the best fit employees are the key to any companys success and thats how to built a successful image..and if the image is screwed it can be affected by many factors, such as advertising, financial performance, product quality and so one. in that case the colour dont matter but their skills

where are you from if i may ask you?

Finance is a hard subject. It is all based on Math . Every finance subject is math-related one.
accounting/finance is definitely not about serious math..it only involves basic skills in adition..multiplications..subtraktion and division...lakin what matters most in accounting/finance is your good analysis...thats where the answer lies.. it all depends how good you are at analysis.. if you are fairly good in it..then you can land to accounting :)
How do you know that? You are only considering it as a Major by seeking advice from experts. How do you come to such a stupid conclusion? Accounting and Finance are too different fields and they don't match up except the financiers are required of taking two advanced accounting courses which are considered necessary in the big scheme of the subject.

Bill Gates is still the worlds richest man. Microsoft.

Buffet held it for a short time and Gates got it back.
