Naima, I have a friend who is Engineer and he is pursuing finance as Minor. He is intrigued by the amount of workloads that this field demands. It is not as what you think. You have to do a lot of calculations that goes beyond the basics of Calculas. In this case, Calculas becomes an essential ingredient that you need to have as basics.
I don't know if you are speaking of Financial services (a quite different) or Real Estate, but the field Finance as a whole is nothing but Math. Sometimes to work on one problem, it takes you a whole page of calculation and finally the answer will give you an intuitive understanding of what decision you have to make.
If you are nerd, it might be easier, but I am only giving you an academic advice to capture your attentions and interest so that you become a sucessful in this field. I am only encouraging you how to master the subject you like the most.
