If our government is bad, then, its us who are not good to begin with.

We hear all the time " Wasiirkayagii, meel manfac leh looma dhiibin"
Meaning " Meel u xado looma dhiibin"
"Wasiirkayagu waa nin cadkiisa goosta " Meaning meeshana wuu xadaa, qabiilkiisana wuu kusoo uruuriyaa!!
"Wasiirkagayu waa nacas aan dhiig lahayn" Meaning he is a clean person who does not loot...
This shows you that the public don't care about good governance etc!

i think there is a hadith that goes to that effect
such as you are like the people who rule over you or something like that...i dont know exactly...

^quran,not hadiths. God will never change the situation in which we live until we change what is in our hearts. So rulers are reflection of the people they have authority over.

i know the ayah in the Qur'an
but i remember a saying of the prophet sallahu alayhi wasallam, but i dont have it on me right now
