wants to befriend you but you know very well that you can not handle their friendship?

Do you reach a time when you think you have enough friends and one more will just be a burden? Considering your work/school schedules, family and friends, and you find yourself full to the minute and there is no way you can have time for one more frien,d but along comes this glue who wants to be your friend, calls you at odd hours, drops in unannounced and tells others that you two are great friends.
Sir,

well think about it, if this new friend is not selfish and a freeloader, then make room for him/her. and i'm sure you already have old friends who are good for nothing users, drop them and replace em' with this new friend. i do friend shuffling every now and then and see who's been nice and who's been naughty and i down size the count if need be the case. lol.

i dont think sir is bragging lol, just had enough of some people. but beauty babe is right you shouldnt comepletly cut them out of your life. you never know someone is thinking the same about you.

Cawar i hear you. i remember a girl that used to do that to boys lol. she use to claim every boy was her friend lol bit sad but hey what can you do, a girl need a friend lol
Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabaraktuhu, it's bragging because basically the brother is trying to say that he has enough friends and another one would be a burden!! Subhan Allah when did Muslims start being so vain and selfish?

Sir Luggoyo...thanks for the warm greetings, same goes to you.

As for getting rid of my excess baggage. I just decided one day, unless I am absolutely passionate about a friend of mine, then they dont need to be a friend. I wasted so much time on..."call heblaayo/hebel" before they get mad....text heblaayo'hebel....invite heblaayo/hebel to this or that event....

Why the headache ayaan is idhi markaa?....

My friends were my world, my life before I relaized the importance of family (extended)....
this happened when i went back home, in 2003.
I guess you can say I matured there...Lol...

Now I have maybe like 3 or 4 friends...one of them being Dhaga B....he is good by the way..
and I absolutely love every single one of them!

Basra..........I love you dee doqon yahay.

I WOULDNT CARE IF THEY TOLD PEOPLE THAT WE WAS GREAT FRIENDS, BUT IF I KNOW I CAN'T HANDLE THEIR FREINDSHIP. THEN THERE NOT GONNA BE MY FREIND.DROPS UNANNOUNCED Y WOULD SOMEONE DO THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND IF IT WAS UR BEST FRIEND OR JUST A CLOSE FRIEND UNLIKE UR OTHER FRIENDS .LIKE A SISTER OR BROTHER THAT WAS CLOSE TO UR FAMILY BUT THAT WOULD BE WEIRD IF THERE NOT.
