The Mogadishu University was built on the profits of demolishing old Universities of Mogadisho and selling the remants as scraps, and on top of profits of occupation. Our family gardens and mansions are still occupied by them.

This University was opened by former teachers, professors & religious men who spent over 10 years raising funds for it outside of Somalia. They also receieved grants & funds from UNESCO and other international aid agencies before they opened their gates in '97.

I swear Koronto, our family owns five Mansions in Xamar on top of Aseendo Farms in Janaale and Qoryooley. It is in their hands since we fled the country.

Current residents of Mogadisho mostly originated from tribal encampments and profited from the occupation of the south. They were persuaded and made to believe everything that we owned are obtained through Xaaraan or favoritism, but our family never earned a penny from the government of Barre. We earned everything through the hard work of my father and my great uncle, who was a very rich man, May God rest him in Peace.
