Another Blow to the stomach.

Postby Cali_Gaab » Mon Mar 17, 2008 9:11 am

I was reading an article from qarannews that was reporting about the new civil-service headquarter being build in Hargeisa.
Riyaale happened to be there and laid the first stone.
Ok, not interesting.
When he decided to adress the public and was asked a few questions he had to make this comment that made my day.

"Life changes. It used to be said that every road leads to Italy, but these days every road leads to America. So we are welcoming the Americans, and have invited them to re-establish a military base in the coastal town of Berbera, as they had a long time ago,"

Another sign that we as a ethnicity and "nation" are truly worth nothing.
No honour, self-respect and dignity is why we resort to this type of defeatist attitude.

To the die-hard somalilanders......what is your reasoning for this and i dont want to hear how Siyaad barre let the Russians have a base there aswell.

Sahan, i haven't got a clue if the other political parties are opposed to these remarks, however he did say "....and 'have' invited them....".
For this reason alone i believe that this is a joint idea.
