Somalis are doing okay, those men in the photos are just average village leaders and they have big bellies.

Somali starvation crisis is highly overrated, maybe the people in the region are healthier in general.

We have recurring droughts but we will overcome that problem once we relocate Reer Miyi to the towns, give them vocational skills, and have them work , pay taxes, etc.

Reer Miyi have never paid taxes except little charity, and we are 70% Pastoralists.

Puntland is economically alive because of the Merchants in Bosaso and little NGOs help.
