This is the end of the year and every year is a tax year, this my break down from my T-4.

Net income 40,000

Net tax , 9,700

E.I , 3500

R.R.S.P 1700

thats almost 20,000 deductions.

Now the rest of the 20,000 was spent as thus.

500 rent X 12= 6000

300 food X 12 = 3600

200 utilities X 12= 2600

car/trans = 1200 minimum

7000 left , divide that into all other expences, be it remmitence to cloths , to other non-mentionbales.

after all that iam asked to pay $1800 in taxes , which leaves me indebt to the goverment of the few $$$ I even tried to save.


Now at this rate , non of us can have any other life but to work to live and to fule their economy.

Now after 17 years at last it downed on me i was better off with my camles in somalia , at least there i don't have to worry about a place to sleep or bills to pay , or a little BOSS who slaves you..

The thing is how people suppose to make it, they made life so hard that you have to slave everyday just to make basic living. Is it the case of starve the dogs so they would keep working for the Corprats.

Whats the point of working when you can't make enough to make your own planes and better your life and free yourself from just selling your labour and time just to live.

Even animals are freer then most north american workers,on top of that the entire year all 12 months you have 10 days vacations, thats all, what quality of life.

The Worst is people in north america are conditioned not to question this unfair game, where the companies are making millions of profits monthily and advancing their economic situations on people's expense.

RRSP= Registered Retirement Savings Plan... When he's 65 he will get 700-800 a month in Retirement plan maybe more when he's actually 65...

That is why our people back home are less stressed. In here, you just work for the boss and just keep him get richer. Remeber that the remittances you send home, driving mileage expenses, shirts you dry clean to look good for the boss, medical expenses are some of things that you can deduct from your income. I used to pay so much back few years ago but now I get some back from them thanks to a finance course I took.

I don't get my taxes back at all as most somalis who have gone to university know , they take it for the student loans. Even that school scheme we were short changed, if you had a loan of 19,000 , 70% of it goes back to the goverment through high tutions, out of that , most tutions per year were around 7000, and add all the books which would cause another 3000 thats 10 you take out your rent and that would be almost 1600, you would even starve if you didn't find a part time job..

the system is well calculated and its locked , there is no way you would save enough money to have plans, never.

What really pissed off about how people are brain washed in north america is the so called handsome benfit packages.

Dental == which hardly any of us make use of it, cleaning your teeth can be done at home.
