Our friend Xaaji Xundjuf/Emperior went there to Sufi School and did some Tafsir of the Qur'an.

FAH,

I have some excellent dikri tapes that I received from Baidoa.

U should come over some time and we can have some buun (somali coffee beans cooked in oil), light some frankincense and do dikri.

I wouldn't recommend those bun; it could break your teeth. And the oil can cause some health problems.

Yahoo!!!!

These folks are weird.

Funny thing, I went to a tacsi not long ago and instead of the wadaado reading quran for the deceased, there they were reciting Dikri for her. I was like wtf, wadaadan maxaa ka qaldan?

Also, I work with this guy who is Muslim. I didnt know he was Suufi until one morning I came to work earlier than usual and went over to say hi. He was listening to his ipod so I ask him what he was listening too. He said he was getting closer to ilaahaye. I so like ..kow! bal let me listen to it so I can get close to him too. And there he was listening to dikri. Come to find out, he is Suufi and instead of reading quraan inthe morning, he prefers the dikri. Anigaa ila hadaa ninka wa ka yaaba.

Ismahan,

My awowe (AUN) was a revered Suufi wadaad. His Aabe (AUN) was the same.

There is only one group that I have been warned not to marry into: Akhwaans.

Sister, our people have never been Akhwans. We are followers of the Qadirriyah.

AbdiWahab252, it appears only you and a few are the last remaining Suufis. Hopefully, you will soon join mainstream Islam.
