That's not true. Women are more than capable of working for a living, and earning their own money. They don't need a man to provide for them, those days are long gone. You're making women sound like gold diggers, there might be women out there who love receiving handouts, but I assure you most women aren't afraid of hard work, and they truly relish the independence that comes along with it.

True. But when she is still single in her 30s or 40s, not many men will want to committ to her.

No one said women aren't capable of working, even women who supposedly work and earn money aren't interested in a man who earns less than them. Who said anything about handouts? a woman's place is at home cooking and cleaning and taking of the children and a man will earn the money to support the family. No such thing as as handouts, only different roles.

When you state that all women are after is money, you are indirectly suggesting that women aren't capable of earning their own money. Isn't it a handout when you rely on a man to pay your expenses, food, shelter etc? I consider that a handout, it's no different than receiving government benefits, the only difference is you share a bed with this man. A woman's place is not in the kitchen, women are more than welcome in the public sphere, they're not second class citizens. Women can contribute effectively to society, and not just through "cooking, cleaning, and popping babies." Do not underestimate women, both men and women were created to worship Allah (swt), and they're both equal. Marriage is a partnership, you make it sound like it's some kind of slave/master relationship.
