The missing ingredient in the Somali community back home or abroad is accountability, Somalis aren't quick to point right from wrong since they feel if it ain't directly affecting them then the hell with it; this is the sort of mentality which had us spinning with no sense of direction, lets hope we don't continue to ignore our plight since it will only come to bite us from behind in the long run.

True accountability is needed but I think we need to solve it ourselves first before we take it to the city.

We will look like uncivilized idiots going to the city council or our representatives fighting.

Its a homegrown problem so we need to solve it at home first then go to the city with what we need and what we're gonna do.

b/c each clan wants their own little community centers. besides, most of them community centers are a front, they fill out falsified documents in to order to receive funds from the feds.

True most of them community centers are a front, but I doubt anyone but the heads of them community centers could be blamed.
