Suga,
Darling, I would recommend you get your annual credit report (FREE OF CHARGE) by visiting this site:
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp You are entitled to 1 report from each of the 3 credit reporting agencies: TRANSUNION, EQUIFAX, and EXPERIAN. I get mine from each bureau every 4 months to review it for any inaccuracies or identity theft.
They charge an additional cost of $8 to get your Credit Score (Which is not the official FICO score but a good indicator of where you are).
Basically, if your credit score is above 710, you have good credit. The Highest possible score is 850.
Suga, make sure to review your report for any inaccuracies (list of accounts you never had or applied for could indicate Identity theft), also review for inaccuracies such as LATE PAYMENTS, or any delinquencies.
As Screw said, "Don't apply for credit as it does hurt your score - so don't apply for too many credit cards, or phones etc."
Good luck,
AW
