Who said Minnesota is cheap? You need to to do a search before coming up with such ignorant generalization. Minnesota was always one of the top richest states and still ranks high in this 2006 ranking: They ranked 2nd and third in the 2003, 2004

MN is not a poor state but the cost of living is pretty low compared to other states like New York, California, Texas and Massachusetts.

Thats true!. One bed room Apartment is about 600-1200 Depending the neighborhood, its relatively cheap when you consider the fact that the average 40 hrs a week worker takes home 400-800( I am talking about non-skilled jobs)
I know this qaldaan dude that never lifted a pen in his life, yet still makes 600 aweek

I've lived in San Diego and now reside in Minneapolis. The only non skilled jobs in San Diego are security officer, security officer and snitch aka security officer. Twin Cities has a more diverse job market.
