People will always come and leave for different reason(s). Once the novelty wears out, people will leave, and explore other websites ( there are plenty of other social networking sites) or they will just focus on their studies more, or other pursuits. It's not unusual for people to get bored, and decide to quit a forum - it's human nature. The management of the site has in fact little to do with why people leave, in actual fact it's the contributors who make the site an interesting or fun place --- it has little to do with how the moderators manage the site. For the most part the moderators manage the site in accordance to the feedback they receive from the members. So it's no use complaining to the moderators, if you want this place to be fun and entertaining, you should take matters in your own hands(literally) and try to contribute effectively to the forum. And if that's not in your interests --- then you're always free to leave. I'm sure for every person that leaves, there's always someone else that joins. And such is the balance of life.
