No he says on his youtube page that he is OROMO but born in Xamar.

The official term for Oromos, Afars, and other brotherly peoples is Somali Abo.
There was also a Liberation Group called the Somali Abo Liberation Front (SALF) that fought for independence in Occupied Somali Abo territories.
