This is a natural expected reaction..what they are saying is not nice..but can you blame them? ..I wish the West puts an end to the mass immigration of Somalis...only in our country will we have dignity.

And they hate Black Americans - just have one tell them they are an African American - and watch the fireworks!!

Half of the people writing on that discussion page are african americans. These guys hate somalis because we work harder than them and because we don't really associate with them like other africans as much as they would like. Very ignorant people. And these people think somalis stink because misunderstood the weeyso and they think the somalis are doing it because their feet stink or something. I wouldn't really mind these people, the people in columbus seem to be very ignorant (not hateful) about everything. Most of them never left the towns they were born in until they relocated from marion, newark, chilicothe etc to columbus a year ago.........lol

I agree with Englightened_Sista. No more Somali refugees allowed in the West. Until we fix our country, we will never have respect that is a FACT.

Can someone tell me why African Americans are so hateful towards Somalis in Columbus? I just don't understand these folks.

I understand why whites are racists but black Americans? Makes no sense.

If im not mistaken the people writing on that thread were white.

And BTW, why is that being talked about on craigslist in the first place

razzberry, I know a lot of blacks and I know a lot of whites. Whites are just racist and it is usually because they are intimidated by blacks. They fear blacks like you can't believe. As for black Americans, they are in competition with the immigrants for jobs, housing etc, and their rants are usually fueled by that. With the somalis, there is added fact that they do not really like to associate with any of them, both whites and blacks because they are muslims and they do not really want to assimilate into american culture. Unfortunately, all somalis will assimilate eventually.

That is true to a certain point but im refering to what was on the thread. Didn't Screw say it was white people making those remarks?
I know for a fact that blacks rant about immigration but some of those remarks didn't seem like something blacks would say.
