Argentina and parts of Utah-Arizona-Colorado produce agatized dinosaur fossils of gem quality. I have found and cut a good number of these from Utah. Note that the cell structure is much like that in birds. These days it is only legal to pick up small pieces on the surface, outside of parks and monuments. It is illegal to dig.

I know of Dinosaur bone quarries in both Utah and Colorado that are open to the public. Some of those bones are huge, and some are quite small. One site I visited in southern Utah had huge bones stacked up like cordwood on a river bank. All solid rock now.
