It's superb article and I posted so that Muslims around the world can learn their history. Majority seem to be unaware of this historic feat of knowledge of Islam. I believe this extraordinary feat was somehow Allah's gift to humanity.
Something beyond our grasp was working with Muslims back then.

To the victor goes all the spoils. Muslims lost sight of their mission in the world, the west guided by christendom took advantage of that, conquered and occupied muslim lands rife with internal conflicts, designed new borders in the conquered lands. Then came the education curricula based on the victor's dictation of what was, should be and will be. With this reality, muslim contribution to science was not even a footnote.
